Define the product and acceptable range
A generic name for Iranian Ceramic Tiles is not enough for offer comparison. Select the required form or grade from Wall tile, floor tile, porcelain and selected formats or finishes and define the standard, application and acceptance limits.
Quality variables and measurement method
Water absorption, abrasion resistance, warpage, dimensions, caliber, shade, surface quality and commercial grade must match the intended use.
Connect evidence to the lot and the decision
Core evidence may include Technical sheet, water absorption, caliber, shade, grade and packing list; each item should be checked for issuer, date, batch or shipment reference and the decision it is intended to support.
Packaging, storage and transport
Typical packaging: Manufacturer cartons on pallets with export protection. Review its fit with the transport route, climate, destination handling and damage or contamination risks.
Price basis and offer comparison
Size, thickness, body, finish, grade, number of designs, packing, pallets and breakage allowance affect final price.
Warning signs before contract
Mixed shade or caliber, undisclosed second grade, breakage, warpage and packing-list mismatches require control.
Questions to resolve before discussing price
- Does the RFQ clearly include Size, application, body type, finish, grade, shade or caliber control, quantity and destination?
- What sampling or quality-control method and approval authority will apply?
- What currency, Incoterm, named place and weight or quantity basis apply to price?
- Which evidence is required before payment and before shipment?
- How will rejection, correction, damages or dispute resolution work if the lot is non-conforming?
